Snowy Pine Cabins and RV- previously known as Chinook Lodge and Smokehouse- is located in South Fork Colorado. The lodge is over a 100 years old and is known for its Rustic Rocky Mountain appeal. The cabins have been modernized yet have kept their charm with an added "touch" of elegance. The lodge has been here since 1908 providing accommodations for guests in South Fork, Colorado.
Our log cabins here in South Fork, Colorado are on a beautiful piece of property. The cabins are nestled in amongst fifty year old Blue Spruce trees. We offer log cabins that sleep from 2-10 people. All cabins have restrooms with showers. Two of our log cabins have a bathtub as well. Our log cabins are equipped with Flat Screen TV's, free WiFi, a kitchen, native rock fireplace, refrigerator, a microwave, dishes, pots, pans and basic cooking and eating utensils. The cabins are rustic, nostalgically attractive and cozy. Each cabin has its own unique name and its decor resembles the same.
Our R.V. Park has space for 18 R.V.'s. Each site has full hookups with either a 30amp or 50amp service and is oversized so that they can handle any big rig! There is a shower house and laundry facility available for our guests. There is more than ample parking and each site is easy to access.
Our sites in South Fork Colorado are back off the highway for a more relaxing atmosphere and the view is amazing. We have a community fire pit of which we can roast hot dogs, marshmallows for s'mores and tell all the stories you would like. "What goes on at the Fire Pit stays at the Fire Pit".
Snowy Pine is conveniently located in South Fork, Colorado. There will be plenty of relaxing at our lodge and ample attractions around the area year round. Snowmobiling, Snow skiing, Fishing, Hiking, ATV and offroading, Golfing, hunting and even The Great Sand Dunes. Some of the most scenic and adventurous drives are right here in our area. Pack a lunch and prepare for some amazing views. We have some amazing museums as well. One of our personal favorites is Creede Underground Mining Museum.
