Mountain Man Rafting was established in 1985 as the first Colorado rafting outfitter and guide service on the Upper Rio Grande near Creede, South Fork and Lake City, Colorado. Mountain Man is still the ONLY guided rafting company on the Rio offering trips on the upper and lower sections. Welcome to Wolf Creek Anglers.  We are your catch and release guiding connection for Southwestern CO, specializing in the San Juan River, Rio Grande River, Private and surrounding waters.  Our local guides are experts on these waters and have a combined 75 plus years of guiding experience.  Wolf Creek Anglers is your guide service whether you are a novice to fly fishing or a seasoned angler.  A day spent with one of our friendly, experienced, guides is sure to be a memory for a lifetime.

Our Fly Shop is located in beatutiful South Fork Colorado and carries a full line of gear.  We have all of your needs for fishing in the area.  Information is free and we enjoy making anglers trips more successful.

We offer specialized fly fishing trips for beginner anglers.  You will spend 2.5 hours on private land with the undivided attention of your instructor.  You will learn casting, rigging, basic entomology (learning bugs), reading water, and proper catch and realease technique.  All necessary equipment is provided with the trip.

Wolf Creek Anglers offers trips on the San Juan River in Pagosa Springs Colorado and trips on the Rio Grande River in South Fork Colorado. Anglers heading to the Rio Grande River will find our fly shop in South Fork, CO convenient.  In our fly shop you will find friendly faces behind the counter and the finest up to date fishing advice available.  Pop in for a few bugs and a fresh leader or count on us to be your "from the ground up" outfitter if you are new to fly fishing.  We carry only the top product lines in the industry, backed with the best warranties, and we do so because it is the gear our staff has tested and found to be top quality.  Shop employees are highly skilled and knowledgable.  We can offer you a casting tutorial or a recipe for tying our favorite bug.
